Just dropping in

Post by Niner »

I don't own a CR500 yet, so don't go banning me or anything.
I have a 1987 YZ490, but I am thinking about selling that and building up my own CR500AF.

It's an old beater I bought for $500. Got about $650 total in it right now. Just you average 20 year old dirtbike. Came with new tires, sprockets, chain, seat cover, side panels, and CR fenders that fit fine up front, but the rear is ghetto-rigged up pretty good. (previous owner was trying to update the look, I wasn't going to drop $20 on the proper rear fender)

Here is my current stable. Most aren't 100% together because the weather is just breaking this week:

It's been modified since this pic was taken.

My 2003 xr50 mini motard that i used to race with a 110cc engine. It has a 72cc in it now. It isn't quite together, I am converting it for messing around on and beer runs:

Why is the frame red? 87-90 were white frames.

Ask the people I bought it from.
Someone must have liked red and painted it at some point.
