Another Hoon from So Cal

Post by dezertryno »

I found Banned from TeemTrubble. My Name is Ryan, live in Yucaipa, just east of Redlands. Been riding since I was 5, always Hondas. Bikes are a 94 Pro Circuit CR250, 05 CRF50, and a 91 CR500 that's for sale. I had a 97 500 first, sold it, bought a CRF450, that lasted 3 rides, sold it, bought the 91 500. The 500 suites my riding style much more.

I ride 99% open desert. Ocotillo Wells, Lucerne, Stoddard is where I prefer to play. If you catch me right, you can get me out on a Vet track every now and then.

I see alot of garage engineering here, it's good to see guys still have a brain capable of imagination. I'll do an AF conversion eventually, not big on the "to do" list right now.

Trubble-just took me time to log in. Definitely a better site overall.

Freemer-I'm a carpenter by trade, which means thinking on your feet and getting stuff done. There's always a million ways to do things, and the people in the AF forum do it, ALOT. It was a compliment to people for not rolling over, and thinking about a problem from a different point of view, while not accepting one "way" an AF should be done.

Hoofer- I rode Beaumont alot until the cops run us out. I had alot of fun there. Where I live I can ride out my garage door, and blow off some steam after work. Nothing big, but people here are cool about it.

Thanks for the welcomes, now GET RIDING!

I use to ride Beaumont to before they closed it. It was the best local free ride spot.

Beaumont was awesome, especially in the spring time. We used to call in sick many of mornings and go riding

Don't know where you got that from Brit did I see you at Glamis? actually I did you were asking who is Freemer dude...I remember then you had to crash out from the days ride.

Maybe (i was a Dick) from my SOF replies as he's a work of art into himself...

Welcome Ryan !!!!!!!!!! Welcome aboard always like to see peeps join in and have a great time.

And no I didn't blow up my camp site and send incindaries into the next camp site so they would ask about where those embers came from the next day like where you were at Brit .wasn't me I was at the next wash waiting for you to come ride with me ...or party!!

You guys made such a fire Ported&Polished had to gather up his shit and move it ... I knew the wind was there and it wasn't going to stop.

Welcome Ryan - I am a tough guy - but I am cool also.

Yes it was. Nice little drive from MV!

I wonder if anyone still "sneaks" a ride in from time to time. Or if johnny law patrols it heavily. I recall riding across the 60 freeway (2 lane hwy at that point) to explore the area more. The old missile silos....trip. Definitely was the best free ride area. Does anyone (still) ride by Canyon Lake area? That was another spot I used to hit.
