No, you got some problem, like I told you on the phone.

Put down the wenches, finish your buzz, and look at it later...

I buttoned it all back up, the only thing I can think of is the cam part of the lever is worn.

The clutch is brand spankin new
The rod and BB look fine
The hat thing looks perfect
There is hardly any wear where the hat thing runs on the pressure plate.

Its gotta be the cam rod thing.

Yup. If that ( or the push rod) is worn, the lever "clocking" will be way off.

I shoot you a photo of mine for comparison.

WTF is that return spring for? You shouldnt use it with a HYD. set up. That may explain your need for that "Niguiver" socket set up...

The niguver socket setup is so it'll work period, without it the slave tops out in its travel before it even starts pulling the clutch.

I got the magura used with no instructions, I dint know I was supposed to pull the spring.

Mine did the same thing when I installed an after market clutch it seems to be that the total pack thickness is sometimes just a little different even on the nicer more expensive clutch kits. I just put another BB in mine as I have the older style bottom ends (85 and 86)

I also had the same problem with EBC clutch for my CR250 I just put a washer on the end that contacts and pushes the pressure plate. The end that pushes the pressure plate has a bearing surface that rides against plate are the newer cr500's this way? If it gets any worse it looks like your arm will hit the case before the clutch disengages. :?

you have ALOT of garbage inside that ignition side. i would be more concerned with why its in there. bone dry with no dirt ( or sand) is ideally what you want to see

If you want a buttery clutch, the Moose easy pull is cheap and works awesome.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Yep...and even better: combine the Moose thingy with a true 3 position easy-pull lever and you'll be blown away !! My buddy just put both on his 500 and now the clutch pull is so rediculously reduced that I can pull in his clutch with my pinky !! I have the easy pull levers on my bike and my sons, but I just ordered two Moose thingys to run with the levers.

Ebay
Moose thingy $40 + free shipping
EZ pull lever $20 + shipping
