Funny that you posted that up, I just saw it a couple hours ago and was going to post up about it until I saw your thread here already when I logged in again.
Definitely interesting especially since MPS has a motor for sale on ebay right now and is still advertising its conversions there too. Don't a couple people here or on the other board have some of their conversions? I be interested to hear their stories too.

If you are going to go through the effort to publicly bag on someone, then is it too much to ask to have the bagging written in a somewhat intelligible manner???  It makes my head hurt to read that.

I've got one of MPS's first conversions and have been extremely happy with it. I've had the bike for almost 2 years, ride it twice a month at one of the local MX tracks, and have had no issues with it. I wish I could see the original post so I could see what the guy had to say. George sent me an updated head stay when they came out with a new version (nothing wrong with the original and still have it) and never asked for anything in return - not even the cost of shipping. He also sent me a set of his new shroud graphics completely free also. Keep in mind, I'm well over 300 lbs and jump the bike regularly - not the first sign of any frame problems. I haven't spoke with him in a while but he's always answered my calls or emails. Here's a picture of my bike:

X3
you know how quick people are to complain when they've spent a lot of money... the guy probably expected an OEM bike and when the pipe had to be dented to fit he probably got all butthurt.

Hi all, new to the site and lovin it. Owned a CR500 01 for 5 years and as of last week, bought myself a CR500AF from MPS.

It took 3 months to ship from US to Australia and lets just say it was worth the wait. The pre and post sales service, quality of the bike and the overall experience was excellent. Buying from E-Bay and not seeing the bike prior to exchanging funds was nerve racking. Furthermore, not knowing if you are going to get what you pay for meant I could not sleep at night, however, all throughout the transaction process, George kept in contact and basically re-assured me that I will get what I pay for.

It turned up on 31st Jan 08 and its BETTER than expected. In Australia, to own a CR500AF is unheard of. I just cant wait to tear up the 450's.

In essence, if anyone reading this is thinking about buying a CR500AF, don't look past George at MPS. You will be impressed!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can tell me how to post a pic on this site, I will upload a couple pics of the new beast.
