I personally don't think those digitron meters are very good. A friend and I did a little test when we were at a race in which world records were to be set. We took a fresh gallon of 110 VP leaded mixed it 32-1 with 747 and then placed half in a empty plastic gas can. the other half went into a empty aluminum race gas tank. We then tested both with the digitron meter which was being used to test all the racers. Each test of the same gasl was done by the proper flush and cleaning of the probe but the aluminum tank read the gas way over the top and while the same gas in the plastic can was still legal. So either the aluminum itself has a huge effect or the digitron system is junk.

I have found what my '98 likes best with a 2-1 mix. I put 10 gallons of 93 in one of my small barrels with 5 gallons of 110. The average comes out to around 98.6, and it seems to be just perfect. When running straight premium no lead, I tend to get just a little bit of pinging off the bottom. When I run this mix, it disappears, and the throttle response is just a wee bit better.
Hey, when the average comes out to be $4.10/gal, not a bad deal for 5.6 points higher.
