Ignition help, do I go to cr250?

Hi guys,
I'm new here. I've ben doing a lot of research and I'm finding some conflicting opinions...
What's the best cr250 ignition setup to run?
I was using a heavy weight flywheel before I got my motor rebuilt but have heard a lot of talk about the ignition swap.
Is it a easy enough plug and play swap?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I've gone through the search function and there are so many opinions out there, I've probably missed the answer

I am not sure of the answers to your question either. However, I do have a complete 2000 cr250 ignition system I would trade for your stock 500 system should you choose to go that route.
