difference in carbs

If I was to buy a carb from a 99 cr250 would it work? What is the major differences between it and a cr500 carb? One advantage I could see would be the idle circuit seperate from the choke. Another is the price, new $170 for the 250 and from what I can tell around $200+ for the 500 carbs.

I think thats a 38mm PWK.... Same carb family as the 39.5mm PWK that most of us run.

Good price for a great carb. You will lose a tiny bit on top, but if its for a playbike, you'll probably never know it.

BIG improvment from the stock "PJ" series.
