Cr500 based twin 1000cc snowmobile engine

Here is something I found on craigslist up here in Alaska, thought some of you guys might find it interesting.

1000cc Polaris Twin Cutler Performance Center Engine - $900 (Wasilla)

1000cc Polaris Twin built by Cutler's Performance Center. This was the BIG O prototype built with two CR 500 dirt bike cylinders. This engine had been freshly rebuilt before I bought it and I had not since run it in anything. The engine is set up for low compression in order to run a turbo. The person that I bought it from said that he had run it before with an Aerocharger 66 and it ran very well. I have two Mikuni 34mm roundslide carbs for this engine as well. The engine has been in a heated garage and is in very good shape.

I wish someone had built it with a gearbox attached, I'd run that in my snowbike conversion.
