Hey guys I just got a new 09 500AF so I am planning on taking my 91 steelie and turning it into a 1/8th mile drag bike. I was wondering what you guys thought I should do as far as porting goes, I plan on doing the work myself and have never done it but this is going to be my project bike. I'm going to lower the whole bike and probably put a solid rear strut in the rear, and maybe eventually extend the swing arm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Track down "RSS396" maybe I'm short an Sm he is a member of this site the other, E2S and several other sites, he has a TRX250R with a 500 that he sand drags, check out some of his posts.
if you're just starting, I would plan to start out mild and check out your improvements, at some point you will probably end up going the wrong way.
you also have to build the motor with the whole package in mind, intake and pipe will play a major roll. going alki or gas, nitros? all things to consider.
