Well, here they are .... your 2012 AVLL JUNIOR CHAMPIONS!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!! Led again by that great team of Jared Hoff on the mound and Zack Bowman behind the plate!!! What a great night these two had. The rest of the team did great to...o w...ith solid play coming from Colin Rowe at 1st, Matt G at 2nd, Coop at S.S. and James A. at 3rd. Our Outfield played strong all night too with some good catches by Jack H. and strong throw to the plate by Dylan M. that allowed Bo-Bo to tag a Yankee trying to come home. The bats did well tonight with Jared Hoff CRUSHING one to deep, deep left center. I thought it was gone, as did most everyone!!! Great hit Jared! The final score was 5-2. In all the games played by the Yankees this year, the fewest runs allowed all season were in games played against us. Great job tonight Dodgers... YOU EARNED THIS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
We now go into the District 55 TOC. We are on the opposite side of the ladder of the heavy favorites, the LNLL Cardinals who are 18-2 this season. If we can play well, we will prolly' meet them in the final. We only played them once this year in interleague play.... we lost 5-3 in one of the closest games they had all year.
Were playing better now, but so are they..... it could be the best game of the season, if it goes down that way.
