V Force CR500

Post by hagendog »

If you read my post in the beer can section I now have some V Force reeds/cage for sale. I used these in my steel frame and made quite a difference but I don't belive they are going to fit in the new one. Still have the box for your shipping plessure. Paid $141 for these and would like to get $75 +shipping for them. I just had them all the way apart and there no crack or chips in the reeds.

gen 3 with 88 motor and 5.4 spring, real tight. If I install the thing it makes getting the carb in almost impossible without removing the subframe. I had to install a reed cage and in boot off a later model to get to the point I am at now. Plus I don't have to cut the intake :D

last time I rode this in the hills I had the carb out twice between rides, nice to just do it BUT I did like the way the v force felt in the steely. It's on ebay now but if no one gets it I will probally throw it on for shits and giggles

The v-force definatly make a noticable difference from 0 to 1/2 throttle from then it feels about the same as stock.
