WTB oversize mounts

Post by 2strokeforever »

looking for oversize mounts, as low as possible no offset, not the adaptors
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

For stock clamps right? I think I got a set. Or you could step up to a RG3 4 post deal, they are oversize and help with the vibes.

I can't say the RG3 makes a significant difference, certainly doesn't hurt and they "claim" along with magazines that the 4 post deal absorbs more than stock 2 post ones. You can also get different strenght rubbers to work with it.

The mounts I have are the kind that replace the honda ones. Not a set up with one top clamp.

Oh, I forgot I think I may have one of those too, gotta check.

Both my gen 1 and gen 2 RG3 clamps have blues as well, I think you can order others. RG3 has 2 generations of the clamps.

Chirs I'll send you an email with pics of the BRP setup I have that is also got a scotts top mount built in, 1064034 are the numbers for the mount on the scotts.

Hey Nodge, have you tried your bars with elastomers on the rebound side as well, not just the compression side? That's how I run em.

No I have not. I should try that though.
Unfortunately all these bars have been doing since last winter is holding my riding gear off of the floor on a roller with no engine.
