piston weights

Post by 2strokeforever »

anyone got a new 90mm vertex piston they can weigh for me?
, or a few so i can figure out how much plus or minus the weigh
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

looks like str might want to make things work, but i figure since my bore is shot and if he goes for it it might as well be set for when i get it bored

getting it bored as soon as i have $, might be a while tho

when piston weight increases the RPM that the crank is set up for will increase as well. I would have had mine set up for a bit lower RPM if I would have know that ahead of time. Hopefully the nikasil coating lasts a LONG time on my jug.

So did you do so fancy talking with Stevo?
