not building a 500...
...but I am hacking-up a Honda. Actually, I'm kinda going the other direction power and performance-wise. Just building a low-maintenance trailbike to take on the road with me as soon as I'm finished building my motorhome. Found this forum a while ago and was sure I'd find it useful somehow/someday. Already got a ton of great info about chopping up these bikes, so thanks for all the help.

A Deuce as a motorhome... I like it. I have always thought that they're bad-ass vehicles with their "multi-fuel" capability to run on almost anything. I remember when I was in the military and a buddy bought one from the base and we were driving around and he put diesel in it. A couple days later we were driving around and he pulled over and filled it with gas and I was like "what the fuck are you doing?!?! you can't put gasoline in a diesel engine!!" That was when he explained the multifuel capability and he even ran it off of hydraulic fluid once! Pretty sweet design!

Ah, thanks guys. Yeah, the multifuel engines are pretty neat. I've actually got a brand new 5-ton multifuel engine that I'm swapping into my rig. It's basically the same engine as the 2.5-ton multifuel, but it's modified/tuned to make a little more power. If you want to read more about how these multifuel engines work, click here. Also going to have a pretty crazy fuel processing system onboard, so will be able to filter and burn just about anything even remotely flammable.
