I know the 500s have a unique (and awesome) bark to them, and as much as it's music to my ears I am looking to make mine quieter or as quiet as possible without being cumbersome. Its going on a 03 cr250 a/f conversion, so if it'll bolt right that's cool but rewelding and reworking doesn't bug me either.

Too bad that won't work on the 4strokes...should be mandatory! I find it ironic how the 4T makes so much more heat than the 2T...and they're concerned about fire hazards of a 2T.
