Ill bet they reinforced it with rebar which is now rusting heavily and forcing huge cracks.......

Seems like a monumental waste of money to me.....

When I vistited the falls a few years ago they have all kinds of similar pictures in the visitors center.
Interesting, and amazing, but not a secret.

I think its more amazing that the falls were frozen at one time.
