oversize front rotor

Post by 2strokeforever »

i just got my oversize front rotor + bracket for $100 :D but the rotor hit the bracket... 10 minutes with a file fixed it... looks decent quality
i chipped/fractured my arm so i cant ride for 2 weeks minimum, and ill have to take it easy, so i cant give a ride report but going from 240mm to 270mm has gotta be an improvement and for $100 thats a steal

the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

I ran the 320 and IMO its just a bit too much for the dirt. Too much leverage and I was instantly washing the front end when applying the brake. It jsut locked too easy. It would probably work well on a Supermoto or on the street.

I ordered that same "brand" OS rotor for my build (with the 98' RM250 front end) and had the same problem. I sent it back and got the EBC OS rotor instead.
