Nice bike bro! Great work! I saw your bike over at SMJ"s. Eline doesn't make lighting coils any more and haven't made them for awhile.cryzsurfer wrote:I'm going with the alloy tank so I can weld in some relief on the bottom for the spark plug which will probably reduce the capacity some. Figured I'd make up for that with some extra up top. I went with thicker stuff for the top and sides to prevent the smaller dents and such and going with .062" for the stuff below the frame line. You're right that it's not worth the extra work, but I've gone too far to turn back now. I'll have to take a pic of the bung as it's beautiful work. A good friend who is a top machinist did it for me, and I welded it on the inside to reduce distortion. This is my third project bike. The first was an 85 RZ500 Yamaha V4 smoker that I upgraded to inverted forks and a complete R1 rear. I fabbed the rear chambers from stainless with titanium cans and inconel end caps. Don't ask why I just had a bunch of that material laying around at work.Tha other project is my 99 CR250 with an 01 YZ250 engine, R6 swingarm grafted in, an FZR600 front wheel, and GSXR750 caliper. Waiting on lighting coil at e-line for it. It has a milled head and Rad Valve as far as mods.

MPS 500 AF welds exposed
Yea I kind of thought something was up after twice I tried to order a coil and they fed me a line about a certain part that is made in Europe being backordered. The CRYZ scoot is a blast to run around the hood on. I'd planned on swapping tha tag off my RZ on it once the lights were working, but I might have to go with a total loss lighting rig. I just dig two strokes and what's better than the old 5 Hunny, so after several years since trading my 92 CR I got me an 87 for my project and the 98 for the present. I still have a very modded RZ350 and another project 350 with a banana TZR swingarm and inverted forks to name a few. I guess I have too many coals in the fire sometimes as it seems as if I'll never finish. Thanks also for the kudos guys.

I love RZ's and RZV's......and even old RD's. One of my friends used to have an RD400 Daytona Special and my brother had a buddy who had an RZ350 I fell in love with. I've been watching RZ350's on Ebay for about a year now trying to decide whether to get one or not. I really want a new big bike but at the same time I would really dig riding the little 2 stroker !! Kill the oil injection, pre-mix w/927 and fumigate the streets with that sweet castor smell !!cryzsurfer wrote: I still have a very modded RZ350 and another project 350 with a banana TZR swingarm and inverted forks to name a few.

TTM Website
Anyone have a website for TTM? I googled it but cannot find it.AlisoBob wrote:Any of the bike builders have an open forum here... to either promote their products, make announcements, or answer questions.MICK wrote: Exactly how does this site support MPS or Service Honda? By support I mean how does it not bag on their craftsmanship continually?
When MPS post's photos of their "work" on eBay (draped in shop towels), or S/H refuses to answer simple, direct questions... and instead deflects them like a crooked politician.... the forum isnt being used as intended.
AJ is producing 2009 Model year bikes. He was asked to post photos of the current production quality. He refuses to do so.
By not doing so, its simple deductive reasoning that everything in Indiana is Status Quo.
Many members here, not just me, find this unacceptable.
Thats bagging?
As far as quality, Mike at TTM builds every piece, does every weld, and is in 100% control of the finished product.
Again , this question was given to AJ, without a response. I've seen bikes from S/H that look great ( I'm assuming these are 100% AJ fabbed bikes).
I have also seen bikes that are a little rough in the fit and finish dept.... (Was AJ at a trade show that week, or on vacation?)
Anyone who wants a TTM,( or is going the home made route) KNOWS whos building it.
Anyone who wants a S/H, ASSUMES AJ is building it.
AJ could clear up all the confusion in a single post, and has access to do so at any time.
I would love to be able to add S/H to the approved list, all it would take is a little spit and polish on his end.
...... case closed.

you have to do this on the crf 250 frame to adjust the gear lever or drill the threads out of the lever and run a bolt and nut100hp honda wrote:not sure whos this is but its a fairly new bike. something funky is going on down by the footpeg![]()
. the weld by the motor mount looks good from what i can see. its impossible to make a conclusion on all the other welds because they arent visible.
