Should I worry about this ?

Post by kelroy_leon »

I see that on my 86' rotor there is full contact around the hub flange. The works 86's used 85' rotors, I have a 94' rotor and like the look better but it fits like this:

Not like this:

Do you think I need to worry about that at all ? It looks the same way as my yz front rotor mounts ? Thanks

I for one would not worry about that, If you like the look just use that 94 rotor just ride and enjoy!

It should not cause any problems.

Better still, why even use it?

If you want to use one, I think the 89 dust cover should do the trick.

x2, i always throw mine away. makes it easier to clean without them + they look gay. i think there purpose is to stop rocks from getting jammed inbetween your forks and the hub. i could be wrong. but if the 94 disk works then do it!
do it!... cos if you dont, youll spend the rest of your life thinking about it anyway!
