Does anyone have any experience with these blocks? I am hoping you know what I am talking about but from what I can see it seems to be a replacement block for gm 350's like the newer goodwrench crate motors. Roosty have you seen these and are they worth any time trying to build one?

goodwrench/targetmaster same stuff
its usually a pretty decent block, core shift isnt too bad, ones i've sonic checked have been as thick or thicker than an 010 block, and the density is about the same.
I'm guessing its from a core, not from a box?
if it all looks good, i'd run it. most of them were 4 bolt, but i havent seen any with roller cam provisions.
First thing to check is the rear seal area, some of them have been odd, or had a shim behind the seal, mexican or not
Dont expect any of the blocks that havent been "race prepped" on digital machines to be anywhere close on deck height, or have the bellhousing machined true 90 to the crank.

Thanks for the info. It is a 4 bolt main and that is why I thought about livening it up a bit. I cruised the net a bit with the cast number and everything I found said that they were thin. I didn't want to tie up a bunch in this and it run hot or fly apart. I think I may just build it a little on the mild side and stick it in an s10.
