POR-15 is fucking indestructible, if used properly.

it WILL peel off of a remotely smooth surface. ive had problems with it sticking to sheet metal prepped with 80 grit......

the BEST application for it by far is for anything rusty. like a truck frame. take a hammer to the frame to knock off scale, then brush this shit on. it will NEVER come out of clothes...hell drops of it have been on our shop floor for years. its a goddamn project just getting it off yourself, and if it dries, its there for weeks.

it is a brushable coating equivalent or greater than Powdercoat, minus the U-V sensitivity. it isnt catalyzed either.

make sure the rim of the can is 110% clean before re-installing the cap....or you WONT get the lid off next time.

for the proper applications, you CANNOT beat POR-15.

Remember, UV only makes the color look "funky" it doesnt alter the protection...

use saran wrap, works like a champ...put a square over the can, then stick the lid on...
