Its a bottom end of a CR500.
Engine # 540 5180

1985, it has a steel waterpump gear, split washer clutch and short deck cases with a 1 piece clutch case

Still getting the odd complete steelie 500 for sale in WA.Usually around $4500-$5000. But yeah hard to find just an engine.

yeah it is a shame but so hard to find just an engine.Spoke to a couple of wreckers over east when I seen an advertisement for an engine and they are asking over $3000 just for the engine,and thats not even fully rebuilt !
