91730, huh? thats RC, we have some hoons in RC, if the builder isn't flexible on the shipper I'm sure a fellow hoon could pick it up and ship it to you.

you can check online as to what the rates are for UPS, USPS and fedex. UPS is norammly chepest, but the USPS has been making a comeback.

Yeah where is it exactly? I can probably help you out especially since thats a stone's throw from where I'm at....and I wonder who it is locally that modifies frames...?

the builder is elsinore factory the guy (russell) seems to be a good genuine person (i have been fooled before tho) so far i only have positive
things to say about him. will post pics of bikes when i get it.
i looked up the shipping rate he sent me online they are correct,
ups 572.30USD
fedex 566.28USD
usps , priority mail
303.40USD at payed at post office or
288.23USD payed online
but the box is to big max length 42"
max length plus girth is 79"
there is a global express in wich the box falls into the right peramiters
but is not avalible from that post code not sure of the cost .
im just wondering if anyone knows a way around the box restrictions.

What do you mean by that? U cannot ship from that post code? 91730? If thats the case, drop off at another location. Drive to UPS hub and drop off. Or go to a larger city...etc.

The key thing with shipping is making the package as small as possible,

Just that extra few mm in any dimension can lift a relatively light item up into a heavy category, by the process of "Cubing" the package. So a 20kg package might be treated as if it's 40kg, just because of its size, making for a big freight bill. Some suppliers don't understand this / care & just put bits into an overlarge box = $$$$$$$$$$ . Quiz your supplier to see if he's made the package as small as possible. But by most stds, we have very affordable freight costs here in OZ. We do tend to get nailed for incoming freight.......

i paid mike money for parts , but i still haven't got a refund .
i actually had Elsinore factory do the conversion , that was just as big of mistake as trusting mike any way , looks like they let the work experience kid do it, wish i hadn't paid the customs fees and duties and let them crush it.

they would do but didnt . ill post a photo that sums up there work a little later.
