LOL i wish they were "hollywood quiet" but the reality is you still need ear protection in confined areas...but it is WAAAYYYY quieter than with out! The best part is the recoil reduction and zero flash...

I have seen a few movies where they have the silencer sound proper, still sounds like a gun, but way quieter.

Operationally, supressed weapons don't offer a tangible advantage. Any 9mm works real well equiped with such, but you're not hiding from anybody with a supressed rifle.

The crack of a 7.62 round will echo off canyon walls all the same. The slap of 5.56 finding it's target is also no different.

But they are fun to enjoy privately. Won't be listening to bells ringing all night afterward...

Hollywood manufactures "silencers" In the real world us mortal men have to make do with just "supressors".

You should notify SOCOM about this info. Imagine all the tax money we could save if the Navy Seals, Force Recon, Army Rangers etc. etc. stopped wasting all that money on suppresors for all those USP Tacticals, Mark 23's, MP5, M4, M14's, .338 Lapua etc. etc.

I'd have to say that the 1911 is my favorite handgun. 45 acp #1 10mm #2 38 super is a good round as well, just a bit spendy

SOCOM? Lapuas? M14s? Seals, Force Recon??? and Rangers? :lmao: :rotfl: play video games much :lmao: :rotfl: Surpressors aren't used to hide the operators. Most operations are overt. The reduced dbs help us communicate internally and reduce our noise signature beyond the immidate threat. "us" and "our"? Play video games much? You are implying you are SF in this statement but you are obviously very ignorant to the above things I had to give you links too...
