A quick "How ya'Do", and a photo would be nice.

Hello from Coastal NC

Post by matt_NC »

Hi everyone,

I've been reading all the info here and wanted to thank y'all for posting and sharing knowledge.

I've been riding dirtbikes for over thirty years now. In this area it is all sand, not dunes like some of the pictures I've seen but deep sand trails, either super tight woods or wide open for miles.

Two strokes rule in the sand and every chance I get I ride my old man's '86 CR500. It is in amazing shape and I love every second of seat time i get on it.

I'm starting to collect parts to build a '04 CRF250X conversion. I have the frame with a MSO, so I can do a legal dual-sport. I have mounts on the way from East Valley Precision. Now I just need to get a hold of some square tubing. So if anybody has a source please let me know.

It will be a a couple more months of gathering parts before I have much to post on my build but I've been doing my homework, thanks to Banned.
