CDI location?

Just got a 99 CR250R ignition set up, already modified the stator plate to fit

Need to either add some copper to the nice set up or re-locate the CDI box from behind the number plate... The 250 box does not fit in my stock 450 CDI bracket, so either way a new way is required to mount it and then the issue of too WHERE?

Would rather keep the set up clean and un-touched...... Any advice/ideas

i hung my '88 250 setup under the gen3 250 tank
