Easy for you to say, I don't understand any of that shit. :? :?

Before you can post a picture, you actually need a picture to be able to post it. :D

The last time I even touched the wifes camera, I was supposed to be holding it, guess what I droped it and broke the inside of the lens.

It cost almost $400 and 4 months to fix the damn thing    needless to say I am not allowed to touch it ever again.

The wife refers to me as "A HOPELESS CASE" :?

The wife aiso says that my AF will never go, at best it will be an expensive pile of scrap metal in her shed. :? :?

BTW the wife has canceled the pay TV and internet from 12-27-09 to the 1-18-2010? maybe longer, while she is on holidays in New zealand with our daughter :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

I won't be able to post anything then.
sounds like its time to bring the hammer down!

just order some spares on her credit card, then start the af conversion on the lounge room floor :D
do it!... cos if you dont, youll spend the rest of your life thinking about it anyway!

here is the new design wiseco. note there is no recess on the gudgeon pin ends. this is prob why it is heavier than the larger cast piston.

we kind of got off topic didnt we? my fault.... least i finally got pics up.

so whats with the wiseco weighing 20 grams more than a .25mm larger cast piston? i always thought that was the main point of forged pistons. stronger, therefore lighter?

A forged piston actually has more metal in it because it has been squashed / forged into a dense form, therefore becoming stronger because of it.

I hope that makes some sense to you, I can explain things really well with speech but bloody hopeless trying to do it with words.

Billet and all those things are such a scam- you can make better radius with a casting so forged/machined parts are always heavier.
