I have 2 more CR250's and 1 CRF450 to do then I'll have a KX and a new KX450 chassis in here and then I'll take a close look at the 09 CRF450

I bet its gona be sweet. I cant wait to see it. I've heard there more of a pain in the ass though. I'm sure you'll figure out the best and cleanest way to do it though. Might have to start trying to get a loan for that one. I hate the handling on my kx

I'm gonna give the market a couple more years. Then pic up a ratted KXF450 to bring my KX500 back to life

Shit by then the bike will be over 20 years old. It'll be like the resurrection of Christ!!

I know the feeling. My ktm is all torn apart right now and im looking at the kx, wondering if i should just do the swap or fix it. The price to fix the 450 is $477 or so and thats giving it some more power, but i need to go through the kx also and then do the swap so mabye a little more money. I'm proably just gona fix it and save up some more cash and have the kx breathed on before it goes into anything else.

I know you cant give me specifics on how to do the conversion itself.......but I was wondering what year KX250f and what year KX500 motors work the best for this type of conversion...Ive done a few Honda Gen2 and 3's
TIA!!!!!
