brand new, $100 over invoice, financed as an auto loan, not a CC and a nice LOW rate.
It fires one easy kick, rides fucking awesome, quite a bit more hit than the 450s I have ridden. After my first wheelie going down the street, I have not been able to whipe the grin off my face. gonna set the sag tomorrow and ride saturday!

then the paddle is going on for dumont next weekend!

my camera phone is acting up and I don't have batteries for the digi cam (seth keeps burning them up in his leapster) but I was able to get one pic of the collection

Nice 450 and congratulations! I picked up a new '08 CRF450R for $4,500.00 last month. Still haven't even started it but I'm slowly getting it ready for when it cools down.

yeah, I paid right around $5k but after tax, doc, assembly and all the other shit it came out to $6400. their computer showed -$1082!
but kawi had $1000 cash back on the '09 and after financing they came out about dead even. They would have made about $100 if they didn't have to give me the monster upgrade.
earlier in the day I stopped in to talk to them since I didn't want to drive all the way up to cedar city where jay has mad hookups and they quoted 8300 out the door

I politely refused, but when I got back to work I called jay and I didn't even realize he used to work at carter and was bros with the sale manager, he called that dude for me and got a quick couple grand knocked off

The sales manager was pissed when I came in and told him I was jay's friend

they had an employee buy the same bike a couple weeks ago and he paid $500 more than I did

DUDE, you have to try this thing this weekend, it has massive midrange, even coming off a cr500 I am way impressed with the power and the FI keeps it running lean and mean through the whole rpm range!

yeah, katooms are nice, but the $$$ difference isn't justified to me... I can trick the shit out of my kawi, have the bars I like, get everything feeling right, spare wheels for the sand, etc. and still cost a lot less than buying a ktm.
