Greetings from Vermont

Post by Disturbed »

At 52 I'm under some delusion that I can race again [18 years off] and not having the most advanced mechanical skills, I bought this 05 CRF450 conversion from a guy in CT a couple weeks ago. It came with a rebuilt 87 motor but I have a 97 that I think I'm going to put in. Really need to ditch the big tank for MX but a stock won't fit till I deal with the longish sealed off rad stubs.

The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Holy Crap, Over 50? I better hurry.

Welcome.

Nice looking bike do you have a link for those risers? I'm 6'4"
and too tall for my bike. I rode Jay's (Lewis clan) 650 with risers much nicer that trying to bend over and ride at the same time.
