does any one know if a 94` cr250 trans is the same as a 94`cr500?
can i put the 250 trans in the 500 case ?

thats a good question. ill bet they have alot of similarities but i doubt its a drop in procedure. the tranny bearings may be the same, but i dont know if the over all width of the shafts are the same, (specifically the clutch shaft). i looked into putting a 250 billet basket, inner hub and pressure plate on my 500......but i think the 250 basket is narrower and would require different thickness shims. another thing is im not sure if the 250/500 basket gear has the same number of teeth. it would probly be like putting a puzzle together, if you know what i meen :lol:

dont fit, washers and clips are similar, last time i checked the shafts spacing was different, so that would mean that the gear diamiters would differ, even on the same tooth count, crappy ratios anyways
