CRF250X clicker settings?
CRF250X clicker settings?
yo Bob, do you have the base line clicker settings for fork and shock? Mine are 2006 and I don't have a manual for the X. Also I assume that these have adjustable fork preload like my other set of Showas (haven't tried to turn it yet and I'm at work) and if you have the manual what is the stock fork preload setting?
thanks!
thanks!

My guess it you are a) heavy enough to warrant a change in spring rate and/or b) do anything faster than woods riding, you're going to need to treat the X settings as a jumping off point only. I'm only 179lbs but I have a set of stiffer forks springs on the bench, and have already upgraded the shock spring. I stiffened the compression at both ends to compensate. I'm shaking the money treat to fund a re-valve by one of the obvious SoCal suspects (Racetech, Factory Connection etc.)

yes I just wanted to make sure I had them at default settings when I started. I am a bit of a suspension freak and am pretty good at set up. I have had a lot of revalves done in the last 20 years and honestly wood stay away from the big companies like the ones you mentioned above. in cali I would use precision concepts. MX Tech is also very good.redrocket190 wrote:My guess it you are a) heavy enough to warrant a change in spring rate and/or b) do anything faster than woods riding, you're going to need to treat the X settings as a jumping off point only. I set my sag last night and the stock springs are fine, got to my number and still had 34mm static sag. I am starting at 100mm rear and guessing I will probably end up around 94-95 by the time I'm done testing sunday. I was at the doctor the other day and was at 173 lbs in street clothes.
