I had a mongoose (first real bmxer just dragsters before that) then a redline, which i snapped the top of the frame and it speared into my left hamstring.....48 stiches later, my worst pushy injury.

Dude! Back in the day is 1974 for me. A Sting Ray with motocross bars on it. Use to get the bars at the Orange Swap meet for $5.00 after we did my friends paper route.

Maybe I should dig up the old 8x11 black and whites doing cross ups?

1981 Mongoose, Supergoose with five spoke plastic wheels and no brakes.
You don't need brakes they only slow you down.
Those were the days.
Always seem to have money back then as well.
