Spark arrestor

Post by JR650 »

I need a spark arrestor where I ride most of the time, wondering what will make the most power, noise isnt a huge issue but not ear bleeding would be cool. looking at fmf turbinecore 2 or PC296 any recommendations would be appreciated (for my gen 3 250), need to get something coming so i can get rolling on my conversion. Sorry for the stupid question I searched but didnt find much. I will be running a PC platinum pipe if it matters for fitment. thanks, JR

The FMF Q is nice. Real quiet too!
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

if you dont have noise concearnes then just get a clamp on spark arrestor for your old silencer. theyre pretty cheap, i gave one away for free a while back.

I run one on my gen 1. I have never had a problem with it. some guys don't like that my silencer is longer than theirs though. :D

i like the PC foresty service AF silencer i am running on mine. it's not loud when wearing a helmet, but it's loud enough when i'm WFO to where some people will take their hands off their steering wheel to cover their ears when i come hauling ass by them.

one thing i really like about it is that it comes just to the end of the number plate, so it doesn't stick out or look retarded.

well, bought a turbinecore 2 today, only thing any dealer around here could get fairly quick, we'll see how it works out, hopefully no welding to make it fit the pipe. thanks for the input, even if i ignored it, JR

Excellent choice

i heated mine in the bend and tweaked it down so it hung in the stock rear hole on the gen3 250 chassis
