Anyone up for a day trip this weekend?

The weather has cooled off bigtime and im thinking about just rolling out for a day. So far its just me and a buddy with his truck, hes hoping to be able to hit some hills with a stock-ish tacoma 4x4

Its still in the air and nothing is cast iron yet

BTW I went to the BLM office yesterday here in barstow to get a season pass but they arn't available until mid nov, the girl told me to keep any day passes as they will deduct the cost dollar for dollar off the season pass.

You cant get a pass right now because they are upping all the fees and they dont want people able to get a "free bee" one month before they up the fees...

sounds good, I'll be rollin solo. I might bring nigyver (atc90) too, since I finally fixed the axle (and reminded myself why not to weld with short sleeves on) but I have to rig up an airbox (dog ate it) and seat (dogs ate that too)

what time, and where do you want to meet (which restroom #?)

I will pm you my cell#, call me when your leaving, were almost the exact same distance, so if we leave at the same time, should make it there about the same.

depends on where in LA, but work your way to the 15 (210, 10, or 60). take the 15 to baker, get off at baker and head north. 30 mi later you'll see a dirt road on your right with the BLM sign. Your there, about 200mi.

Saturday I have people over and i don't know how the night will end up.

I need to leave early am to get to sites 3-4 hrs away.
