Clear Coat

Post by KE 336 »

Has anyone ever bead blasted a frame and then painted with clear to preserve the finish? If so, how did it hold up? I've thought about doing this to some areas of the frame like the insides of the frame rails and places that don't get wear but are hard to get to for cleaning without taking the bike apart. What do you all think?

anodizing the frame would be a much better option and more durable.

if you wanted to go all out you get a hard coat on there

my gen-1 frame is bead blasted and bare. it starts to polish a little where your legs go, but mine stil looks good after over a year since it got blasted.
