I've blown my second 85 transmission and am ready to upgrade to a 97 transmission that I recently bought. I don't have any of the little bits and pieces to put together a new style clutch together. I am really looking for all the little oddball bearings and stuff like that. Decent basket and pressure plate would also be welcome.

you can use the old style clutch no problem, did you get the larger i.d. output shaft bearing? seanmx57 may still have a set of clutch components like you're looking for.

That's awesome, I didn't know that. So is it just the countershaft bearing that I need to change?
Also, the countershaft has 17 splines on it- that means it's one of the new ones right? The guy who sold it to me was kind of a jerk.
