A quick "How ya'Do", and a photo would be nice.

Hi everyone

I have been a member on the other site and found this one through a link over there and through a couple of mutual friends who have built AF models. Been riding all of my life and now I have three sons who also ride so it is a big part of what we do together for family enjoyment.
I have a '97 500 that I raced for awhile until the the crank seals gave up and the 4 stroke revolution began. I've gone down that road and back. Currently I have an '02 450 roller and a complete '06 CRF 250 with a stuck crank. The 450 was the project bike until the 250 blew - it then moved up in line as the project bike of choice.

After becoming a member elsewhere and then looking her for a long time it seems pretty clear that this is a more relaxed atmosphere and it seems to fit me better.

Thanks for the great site and the wealth of information without the added rules and regulations - hell I was afraid to post over there because I might do something wrong!

LAYNFRM -

Central Mississippi - within 30 miles or so of Jackson - work in Vicksburg.

Another member - ridin4fun - is a good friend of mine. He's the one who kickstarted me. I was talking about doing the conversion for about a year. He got two bikes, built one, and is now riding it and I'm still talking so it's time to get it done.

I'm about two hours from BR - straight up 61 from you. We used to ride at Forest Hill and in Ball, LA some but the quads seemed to ruin those trails pretty quickly. We ride some moto but mostly off road stuff - I'd love to get together. We are fortunate enough to have access to several thousand acres in the summer (or whenever there isn't a hunting season going on) so if that fits your bill I've got the place.

We have two YZ250s ands two KX65s to ride so we're not shut down while the build is progressing. I have three sons - 14, 10, and 9.
