What was the first bike you ever owned? Mine was a 1972 sl 70 and I still have it to this day. Actually have two of these but other than the 500 being my favourite. I have fond memories of the 82 YZ 125 i owned at 13 and only being a 120 pounds it took everthing i had to hold on to the red and white pig.
First "real" bike was a 1982 XR200 with dual shocks. But I had a mini bike that I thrashed out on that I got when I was 5. My Xr200 is peacfully resting in a shallow unmarked grave at my parents house.
Rupp Scrambler, it was my dads when he was a kid. I'm still waiting on him to get in the barn and snap some pics when the snow is gone. Every time I go back north I pull it out and ride it around!
First bike was a '98 YZ250, but I only had it a few months prior to selling it and picking up my CR500. I've picked up a minibike, a CRF70, and a CB550 since then though.
MINE WAS A 250 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPRINT 1966 GOT IT WHEN I was 10 years old before that it was a tocko mini bike been riding on and off for 37 years
got like 10 cr500 now 4 of them on nitros.

My first bike was a 1976 Honda XR75. I was in the 6th grade back then. My second bike was a 1975 Yamaha DT400 enduro that my dad gave me in 1980. I slapped a set of full knobbies on it and stripped everything off except the headlight, horn, and brake/tail light. That's all that was required for it to be street legal back then. I rode that fucker everywhere.
First bike I rode was a Honda CT Trail 70. Whem my dad caught me jumping the thing he went out and bought a Honda XL 75. The first bike I owned was a Honda XL 600 in 85. I loved both of those XLs I could ride wheelies for ever.
I had a silver Yamaha GT80 back in '78 or so. My first MX bike was a '79 CR125 (the one with the 23" front wheel). That one was a new leftover that we bought in '81 or '82.
I had a indian moped when I was about 12. My first dirtbike was a 74 yz80. It got left at my uncles when I was about 15. When he passed 3 years ago I went to go get it but some tweekers stole it
My first was a 1978 Honda XL75, I got it in 1979 when I was 13. My first real dirt bike was a 79 YZ100, I think that was in 1981. I also remember having a 1973 Yamaha SC500 but didn't use it much, I think I was scared of it. I thought it was a MX360 when I bought it.
I started driving a street bike when I was 15 and never had a dirt bike again until last year. I bought a 2008 Husqvarna TE450 but barely used it either. Hopefully I will use my Gen 3 CR500 conversion a lot this year.
My first bike was a 91 cr 125.I had it for several years and when I started to get bigger than the bike I started looking for something else. Then I bought an xr 400 thinking I would like the 4 stroke better. A week later I bought my CR500.
73 Yamaha MX80 in 78 I think. My Dad and I fixed it up to sell and by another and did that a couple times till I got a nice enough bike to actually go ride. Buy for $100 sell for $200, buy for $200 sell for $300 and so on. Actually had a 75 Trials 80 which was cool for me cause of the low seat and it was quite so I could ride it in the front yard. Ended up with a 75 XR 80 for a while till I thought I needed a 78 YZ 80. Not fun to ride trails on then....... Dad hit a keno ticket 6/6 for $1480 and bought me a 85 XR100 brand new and rode that till the tires fell off. There was a Yzinger 50 in there somewhere too which I wish we still had but that was just a $$$ maker, I was too big for it!
First bike was a Honda four-stroke moped with the motor embedded in the back wheel. Did about 30 mph flat out and fell to bits thus convincing parents to loan me money for Yamaha FS1-E moped.
I rode this to school as a teenager. Lots of power, no brakes and a frame made of re-cycled rubber bands.
