99 cr 500 piston question

Hi, I heard some stuff about stock pistons being better for some bikes due to porting issues with wiesco pistons

So I am currently using a .50 overbored wiesco piston, when it goes time to change it, should i buy another .50 weisco pison or buy a stock .50 honda piston

(it might be .050 overbored piston not sure but you get the picture)

When this one wears out you'll really be doing yourself an injustice if you try to put another .50 over piston back in it. Your next piston should be a 90mm if nothing dramatic happens to the bore.

Which is best? Vanilla or chocolate...

do i have to rebore the cyclinder to do this? I have put 1 .50 piston in the bike so far. I bought the bike with .50 overbore and didn't know it.

I actually ordered a stock cr 500 piston and rings and took it apart and found out it was bored out. The honda dealer took the rings back but they didn't take the piston back because i didn't have the box for it.

So Now I have a brand new never used cr 500 piston sitting on top of my tv set, and a used .50 piston and a set of honda 954 street bike pistons on the tv lol.

ive never used a stock/vertex/proX piston before, so i wasnt aware of the issue that roostious pointed out but there seems a problem with the wristpin cutout area protruding into the exhaust window. wiseco does not have this problem, i repeat does not have this problem

im sitting at 90 or 90.25 with a heavy wiseco and have no problems.. When and if i ever have to do another one i will throw another wiseco in it
