LA to san diego non-rush hour traffic is less than 2 hours.
LA to Santa Barbara 90 min.
LA to Joshua Tree or palm springs area 90 min.
some of the fellas on this forum commute these distances to work each day.
just remember we drive on the RIGHT side of the road over here!
Bah! I like your times! Ya, those times are correct providing no one else is on the road and no cops are around to get you doing 90+! I know, I drive 60 miles each way, everyday. Takes me 1.25-1.5hrs at 0530. Sucks...everyone else had the same idea to come in early...to be traffic. haha...
Sorry for the side-track....If you do go to Palm Springs, catch a ride on the tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto at around 10k feet. Really cool ride.

I love the desert i'll would like to be there , just for race and come back home again, where i live is all desert
the dude is on holiday he won't be traveling during commute hours. its easy to get jaded by the commuting in so cal. i understand, but at odd hours its super easy to get around. by the way, MOVE OUT OF THE STICKS! no f-ing reason to waste your life on a freeway. my house to my office = 7miles. saved money on fuel = ride time!

sure your only 7 miles from the office but some people like to have a little sqare footage and a big garage. i dont see a garage at your place jeff..or do you just need to cut a hole in the other flap?
LMFAO!! Thats some funny shit! But yeah, you nailed it on the head, Ryan. thx.
SCH, I live out where I do because I like the openness. During summer hours I am still home in time to go out with and ride if I like. But congestion has increased significantly in the past few (10) years.
