Honda Quit Racing??!!

Post by Roostius_Maximus »

Thismorning the radio tells me that after dropping their car racing weeks ago, Honda has decided today to stop their bike racing division aswell!

Who knows more about this that can clarify things for me?

Good point! Maybe Mr. Honda would of rethunk his idea of phasing out two strokes...

The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

That sucks, hard to beleive they would cut the European racing since it is huge in comparison to the US. Nissan quit racing back in the late 80's also, and the Nissan Motorsports division was reduced to a skeleton operation that only sold old stock race parts. They made a comeback in the early 2000's though, so Honda will be back no doubt.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Honda really dropped their pants tho with the 250cc class now allowing the 250cc two-stroke bike in. If the ama fools keep conforming to build a track based for fourstrokes and the 2strokes win ther'll be an uproar
