ive heard of those carbs but i dont know much about them. im under the impression theyre only for 4strokes but i really not sure. what bike you trying to put it on ?
If you've got one laying around, try it out. I put a Mikuni TM flat slide on a XR600 (two stroke carb) . I dont know if a 4 stroke specific carb would be backwards compatible on the two stroke though.

ok i might see if can get a loan of one off a mate in the UK , just for pig iron , only issue i can see with one is they have a pumper on them to squirt extra fuel on on run off .... mmmmm has me thinkin
3. Its incredibly short, intake to outlet. It will be hard to fit.
4. It takes an entirely different throttle assembly.
5. It isnt cheap ( $$$$)
so i take it nobody ever bored out the PWK carbs ?
point taken on acclelartor pump , my only concern really
i will offer one up , point taken on overall length , but a K&N will be on the inlet , so only outlet is a concern , they go for about 150 quid over here , but as i mentioned i can get a loan of one to try .... reason iwant to find out is they are very simple to set up .... ta for the pointers alisobob

PWK is the shiz! if I build another fast bike, pwk 41mm all the way if I'm sticking to gas. Although I really like my mikuni tm41pro and it obviously has some seriouse engineering and technology packed into a very finely built carb... its just a bear to dial in. I had noticeble gains switching to mikuni from a pwk 39, but the pwk39 started 1 kick and was far less tempermental on tuning. I got my mikuni running tits now after an exhaustive amount of tuning... but still takes 3 kicks to start everytime... kinda weird.

Yea... just what I want on my dirt bike.... A 38mm carb ( like stock).. but it takes custom, expensive parts.. and its a bitch to tune.
my mikuni is a bitch to tune but ran noticeably better after I got it dialed in. of coarse, the size and powerjet were the biggest differences and would have been the same if I used a 41 pwk and a powerjet.
the FCR seems pointless to me.

Sign me up!
reason i put it up is that peeps were adamant it would not work .... well it does , oh and they dont come in 38mm
i dont think anybody had intenstions of crushing your dreams of making that carb work, everyone just asked "why". i cant make sense of everyones ideas, and everyone cant make sense of mine . if it works then good on ya

i dont have dreams i simply asked if anyone has tried it , and i suppose "why" would TSS do it ? , taking into account these boyz seem to know exactly what they are at . i will look into properly when i am at that stage of my build , i could report "complete waste of time" or a result .... but my point of refreshing the topic was it does work
