good times! I only went out for a day ride and had a blast, the wind sucked and the sand sucked even worse, whoops and tracks everywhere! We had a sweet big group ride headed by MFDB who had the helmet cam rolling, so there should be some good footage. My bike sucked donkey ballz in the drags, it was just too whooped out and the bike wanted to loop everytime I hit another whoop Brits clapped out gen-1 worked me everytime at banshee hill. I'd hit the whoops, go 12-o-clock and get off the gas, then gain on him after the whoops, but by then the hill was over
Thats ok, I'll get him next time
At comp, once I found my sweet spot and got a good strategy down I was doing pretty good. Some guy on a green bike was beating MFDB and one of Jay's kids, so I wanted to go teach the guy a lesson and he didn't race me, just turned around after I launched
we had a freaken blast rollin' bowls to the point where I almost ran out of gas in my 3.1 gal.
one word of advise, don't follow brit on the nothern trails there! freaken guy hit me with so many rocks and maintained a f-ed up line, but I did have some fun haulin' ballz after I passed him.
There was the dude on a '84 xr500 who flat out tears it up until his bike reaches its limit! was super cool riding with him.

That guy was cool, we talked for a while, I was really just impressed with how he flogged the crap out of that old xr! total hoon, doesn't care if he is on an old shitty bike, he still hangs with the big boys!lewisclan wrote:the guy on the xr was Brian he lead us around cailico for 3 days before we came out to dumont he loves to ride

I had a great time!!
The guy on the XR could ride for sure, he his rolling proof its not what your ride but how you ride it
J had the most awsomest bitchest brilliantest fire ever.
My AF ran tits almost all weekend but halfway throug a ride on sunday developed a wicked missfire when wide open, either a blocked airfilter or shitty carb im guessing
Danny got his ass owned repetedly by my clapped out POS (the secret is the whole time in my head im thinking of racing stoffers on the whoops at pismo pin it to win it baybe and hang on!)
Justin lead some wicked rides, you were fukin hauling on sat man I tried keeping up for 10 mins or so then gave up and dropped to the back of the pack, armpump and hauling ass dont mix!
Thanks for the good times guys!

yeah, I kept freaking out and getting off the gas... having flashbacks from my last looping of the bike which resulted in a face burnout I think its all in my head, next time I should try to stay on it a little harder.
Justin can lead some kickass rides that us guys on 500s will get good and tired!
