thanks guys!!
i still have a rear brake lever from snline to go on...they have been on back order since i was 10..and ill be taking my bike to lightspeed for a glide plate fitment....other than that the bike is just how i wanted it. thank you mike for taking care of my needs and requests on this build...i know i changed my mind a few thousand times!!
when i took a few spins around TTM building, there was no vibration compared to my 01 steelie. it felt like i was right at home on that bike...i know in the dirt its going to be a dream.
bob, thank you for going out of your way so i could get my bike yesterday, i cant tell you how thankful i am.
this was bob with his camera last night at TTM, there are plenty of photos to come, the master photographer will soon be releasing them.

So, how long does it take to install a front wheel.....
15 minutes?
30?
and hour?
At TTM, it takes a little more.... Why?
Because Mike didnt like the supplied hardware...... ans remember .. this is EXCEL hardware. Not Warp 9, Not DNA.... Friggin EXCEL!
Mike made all new hardware.... Now the wheel is perfectly centered in the fork, and the brake caliper is perfectly centered on the disc.
Would it have worked before? sure, without a hitch.
Was is correct before? No.... not even close.
If Mike goes to this effort to install a wheel, how do you think the rest of the bike is engineered?
It may sound like I'm kissing Mike's ass, I'm not.
I just call it, as I see it.... Mike does outstanding work...... period.
I would say the same thing about any builder, If there was reason to.
That is impressive.I cant beleive he goes to that much effort ! Anyone seen the Britton bikes that came from New Zealand where the guy made all his own parts ?AlisoBob wrote:

Yeah the Britten V1000 and V1100 were amazing. Too bad the creator passed away... But I guess they are still operating as a company.

and this is my 2004 CR125 donor bike for my next TTM build...mike already has my 2002 frame i bought a while ago at his shop so i can have a green sticker TTM bike. aside the cost of the conversion and bike, i will only be spending money on suspension, used 18" rear wheel, pipe, silencer and new tires.
