Bought it for the soon-to-be 8 yr. old. His 1982 PW50 isnt going to cut it anymore. It is in excellent shape for a 26 yr old kid's bike. 100% complete. It still had the original top end !!!. All it needed was a new set of rings. I'm going through it right now. Will post some pics of the finished product later...

right on. that was first bike i ever had back in the day, but i beleive mine was '83 (would have to dig up the old polaroids to be certain what year it was). couple years later in '85 i got the yz 80 in the first year they went red/white, that was a decent bike too, but in '87 my brother got the kx80 and it spanked the yz80. but the old yamahas were still pretty good bikes

not much difference between the '82 and '83. probably only the tank decal graphics were different.

They only made the YZ60 from '81 to '83.

Bitchin'. Those little bikes are a riot. My buddy/neighbor has an '83 CR60 (looks like a 3/4 scale 480!), it's obnoxiously loud and will pull the front end up in 1st and 2nd. :D
