polyeurethane slider

Post by 100hp honda »

after like 3 weekends of riding i noticed the chain has almost worn through the stock rubber swingarm slider, so i decided to get a polyeurethane one. i heard they make alot of noise from the chain gliding over it but i heard also they last 50 times longer than stock. about a year ago i ditched the stock chain roller for a poly one and its still like brand new. anybody used one of these swingarm chain sliders that has comments ?

I haven't, but let us know how it works. I ran into the same problem with mine. The chain started eating through the slider and I didn't notice, when I did see it, it had begun to eat through the swing arm too!

Ive been using a TM Designworks slider for about 5 years now and It still seems like its the last slider Im ever going to need. Yes it was noisy for a long time from chain slap but after it breaks in the noise goes away.

slider showed up today. i have alot of confidence it will out last the stock rubber one by a long ways. i never understood why they used rubber ones, soon as the chain rubs it the friction kills the rubber
