I was going through a desk I was throwing out and found a couple of vintage photos of my Dad climbing. I have alot more down in the shop of him riding some sweet 500's back in the 80's. Stay tuned.
This photo is from 1988 when he was in his prime at De Anza Cycle Park on his 500. Sick Hi-Point gear with the TLD Jim Holley replica paint job.
This is an oldie from Saddleback on his Wheelsmith 400 Maico, nice front fender. :
He won alot of races on his Maicos and Hondas, but the HD is what made the World Titles. This is the bike in its prime from 1983 out of an Easyrider magazine. It went into a few different configurations over the years with different sponsors coming and going, but this photo is when it was most potent. (sweet seat)
This one is funy to me because it's in my Grandmas living room, bitchen curtains. That was his first Hillclimber, 400 Maico. I wish he still had that bike. Tom White has a original in his collection of priceless machines.
