jetting changes with different pipe??

Post by TYSTYX »

My FMF Gnarly finally cracked so I'm replacing it with a stock pipe to see what the power spread is really like. What kind of jetting changes will I be looking at ?? ( stock carb on a 99 with a PC silencer )

how would we know! j/k brotha. i think too many people get worked up over nothing. on gasoline, you would need to be 10 sizes too lean and be going up sand mountain before the motor would burn up......of course theres exceptions to every rule

do you have a service manual? there is a very nice chart for elevation, temperature, etc. if you are going back to stock, I would start with the stock settings according to your elevation and temperature range.
