Post by AlisoBob »

There dosent seem to be a whole lot of baseball fans here.... but... Has C.C. played his heart out for the Brewers or what?

What an athlete, and a professional.

I am a big Cardinals fan. I'll talk ball with you.

Milwaukee stands to lose both Sabathia and Sheets to free agency this winter.

Sheets will be left off the Divisional Series roster and likely will miss post season altogether with a torn muscle near his elbow according to ESPN reports.

I'm a National League guy, but I am looking forward to the ALDS games more.

I am in favor of either getting rid of the DH rule or putting it into the NL too. It's really two different games. Double switches, defensive replacements etc.

I hold my toungue on this site and others I frequent that are not sports related, but I'm a huge baseball fan. I have been a Dodger fan for over 30 years and have a ton of likes and dislikes with reguards to other teams, rules, past games including the cheating of the Yankees etc.. This year has turned out to be a dream season in which NO NEW YORK TEAM is in the playoffs, I LOVE that! And of course after the Dodgers completely dismantle the Cubs, they will go on to play the Angels in the world series.

Dodger fan from way back. Lopes, Monday, Baker, Garvey, Cey.

I can't wait to see how the Cubs curse takes it all away.

Halos will be tough.

Dr. Mike Marshall has been almost ostracized by MLB because of his method of teaching pitching mechanics. He has been on HBO talking about his techniques and how MLB has pushed him aside.

I'm watching the race, if the Dodgers play like that tomarrow, they will move on. If they pitch and hit like that each game forward, they will be the champs. I think the reason they are smashing the Cubs is because they have been in a dog fight with the Diamondbacks for 2 months which has seasoned them in the methods of winning series. The Cubs have been on cruise control for the last 3 months not having to fight for a playoff spot. I really think when you compare all the National league teams, the Dodgers are the best. The Phillies are second best, and the Angels are the best American league team.

Yep, the Cubs haven't had a serious challenge since really the All Star break.

The Rays looks strong and so do the Sawx, but my money would have to be on LAAOA taking the AL pennant.

Unfortunetly they are done. They go to Boston needing to win 2, force it back to OC for a game 5, I don't see that happening. Vlad needs to belt a few home runs, that would help them.
